COVID-19 POLICIES + PROCEDURES

The health, safety, and well-being of our guests and team are the foundation of our property. In addition to our usual practices of farm-to-table meals, organic cotton bedding, and non-toxic cleansers, we have implemented both city and CDC approved disinfectants and cleaning methods to prevent the spread of Covid-19 here at The Wayback. These include extensive cleaning and sanitizing measures, social distancing both indoors and out, contactless check-in options, no-contact food ordering + delivery from The Cafe, and much more.

Here is a little more about what we're doing to make your stay safe and comfortable:

 

All of The Wayback indoor areas are thoroughly cleaned using CDC approved disinfectants and cleaning methods.

Our HVAC system pulls air straight from the outdoors so there is no shared ductwork, linking your private standalone cottage to any other cottage on the property.

Need fresh air? All of our windows are operable. We encourage you to open your doors and windows and feel the Hill Country breeze.

Each cottage has a private outdoor patio and sitting area.

The pool is open! We ask that guests maintain six feet of social distancing from others at all times.

Customers and employees are required to wear masks in an indoor public space. You may remove your mask after you sit down at a table. You do not have to wear a mask if you are outdoors and social distancing. If you would like room service, please call up to our cafe to order food and drinks to your cottage during your stay (during cafe operating hours).

If you prefer contactless check-in, ahead of your arrival, we’ll send a link with instructions for contactless pickup. Otherwise, you can check-in at the office. Mask required to enter.
