Are additional guests allowed in the cottages?
No additional guests beyond the cottage capacity are permitted. Cottages 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8 accommodate two guests only; cottages 1, 4, and 5 accommodate four guests only. Violations incur a $500 fine charged to the credit card on file.

What is The Wayback’s policy regarding children?
Children 10 and under are welcome with an additional fee of $50 per child per night, in addition to the base rate. Unreported children will result in a $500 fine charged to the credit card on file.

Can the fireplaces be used year-round?
The Fireplace in Cottage Eight cannot be used from April through November due to high Austin temperatures and safety concerns. During these months, the gas pilot is not lit, and smoke will not draft properly through the chimney.
