The June weather this year was perfect for a colorful summer wedding at The Wayback. From the bride's delicate bouquet to the classic sparkler exit, every detail embraced color, personality, and love.

A Picture-Perfect First Look

The day began with an intimate first look in front of our iconic blue cafe doors. We might be biased, but they do make for the perfect backdrop for portraits. There are so many nooks around The Wayback, making a private moment before your wedding day extra special.

Ceremony on Our Back Lawn

The ceremony took place on our back lawn. A string quartet played as the bride walked down the aisle, holding a bouquet of pink dahlias, lisianthus, and delicate blue flowers. Our back lawn is designed for outdoor summer weddings. It offers plenty of space and stunning views of the Texas Hill Country for guests to enjoy.

Reception Under the Stars

After the ceremony, guests walked to the reception space on the back lawn, right outside our beautiful cafe. While they enjoyed cocktails and delicious food from The Wayback Cafe team, the bride and groom snuck off to cut their wedding cake. A personal touch was their wedding cake covered in shredded coconut, topped with adorable silver frog bride and groom figurines.

As the evening continued, the dance floor came alive and stayed packed throughout the night. The wedding ended with a romantic sparkler exit for the newlyweds, making their grand exit unforgettable.
